Jesus calls us to be “the light of the world” in Matthew 5:14. But do our actions reflect that? Do we truly understand what it means to be a light in the darkness? We are called to be the light because God made us so, and we can fulfil that purpose by believing in Jesus as our Lord and Saviour, who is the light of the world as he says in John 8.12.
Sam Boateng reminds us in this sermon that as Christians, we are meant to represent Jesus in the world by giving it light. We should let His light shine through us, showing others the transformative power of faith through our actions thereby inspiring others to seek a closer relationship with God.
