What do we do when our hearts want to take credits for what God does? What are our motivations for the things we want to achieve in life and even in our walk with the Lord? Is our chief ambition to see God take all the glory there is or to prove something of ourselves?

In today’s sermon, Rev. Mensah Ameyaw shows the responses of two sets of people in situations were they had the opportunity to ’take the glory’ for what God had done: Herod on one hand, and Paul and Barnabas on the other.

Listen in as Rev. Ameyaw reminds us of our mere humanity and God’s exclusive attributes. These, he explains, can heal us from the thirst for power and glory; the thirst for affirmation; to be considered a ‘somebody’.
