Sin. We do it. We feel it inside us. We see it play out in others. Our world is wrecked by it. The Bible tells us sin is breaking of God’s Law; actions deserving of God’s judgement and punishment. But sin is also the state of our hearts, and our very nature.
In this part of our ongoing series, “How to Change: Becoming Like Christ, The Lord”, Sam Boateng traces our sin to Adam and Eve, and how we are partakers of their unrighteousness. Before God, we are as sinful as they are.
But we are not left without hope. God has made a way to deal with our sin in Jesus. In it, He remains faithful to His nature and pours out His wrath on sin so our debt is paid. And in it, He redeems us and makes us His own, cleansing us through life.
